Sean Henderson, Herbalist
I am a qualified Medical Herbalist, I obtained my degree in herbal medicine from th
e University of Westminster and now reside in
the Southern Uplands of Scotland where I practice herbal medicine in my
clinics in Glasgow and Leadhills. In 2009 my
practice expanded to include a clinic based from my home in
the
Southern Uplands village of Leadhills. Becoming a Medical Herbalist requires a a lot of had work and leads to a recognised degree course in in herbal medicine. All recognised courses include;
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Pathophysiology (understanding the process of disease)
- Diagnostic skills
- Materia Medica (Herbal Actions & Pharmacy)
- 500 hours supervised clinical experience
- Nutrition
- Botany
